...Salina, where Your Quality of Life Matters...
:: Old style pools were once very popular :: People's Expectations have changed over the years

:: Modern Aquatic Facilities now have features that people of all ages and abilities enjoy.

These pools were at one time the best available. Attendance was high and everyone enjoyed spending summer days at the pool.

The existing Salina Outdoor Pool was constructed in 1956. The circulation system in this 52 year old pool is inoperable and the deep end basin has settled.

In addition to its problems associated with age, Salina's municipal pool does not have the features that many people desire today. It is limited in amenities available.

Many of the features that are commonly part of modern aquatic facilities can be part of a new aquatic park in Salina.

We are asking for your input into the planning process to develop a layout for a new aquatic facility to replace our aging swimming pool.
